What should I do? I really want to help someone?

If this is the game of "life," I might've won so far, but I'm pretty bored.

What could I do?

If you are bored that would suggest you haven't found what it is that makes you tick. So many people feel that great wealth will solve their problems but money is only a means to a goal. It has no value of its own - until you spend it.
Maybe instead of thinking about how to use your money to help someone you should look inside yourself and find that something that you feel passionate about, that makes your heart sing. Finding it could lead you in a direction where your wealth can be the means that brings you the personal satisfaction that you are lacking.

Maybe the universe has put you in a position to do something positive with your wealth.

Here's to hoping you find what it is and spread it around the world!

Hope it helped.

How nice would that be to say I had enough money. Everyday I wounder how my husband and I will keep providing for our kids???? Its so hard to be just making it.
Maybe you could be come involved in some social work- they will take all the help they can get-and when you see how you made a difference in that persons life rather the person be 2 years old or 80 years old you will feel like you have a great purpose. There are so many of us out there that need Help! Let me know what you plan to do! Good Luck!

If you really are fortunate enough to be wealthy and you really want to help somebody, why don't you consider going to help at a shelter for the homeless, give a job to someone...a real job. Find out about those micro loans that have been so successful in Africa or India and try to do something like that. With money, the world is your oyster; I fear you are not bored, just directionless.
It takes time to find people who genuinely need help, and help is really about giving someone self esteem, NOT just money. You need to be inventive in how you help. But it should be fun for you too, not just the recipient. Good luck.

Tough question. If you are truly wealthy, I'm sure you have considered all the options. If you want to help someone, consider assisting a talented and promising person to achieve their maximum potential by giving them the financial opportunity to higher, otherwise impossible to receive education. This will not only help the individual, but every single person that individual helps with his/her gift of higher education.

The first impulse would be to send you to Africa, if you really wish to help someone, help the children there, but... you will say, that's just crazy, to just jump on a plane and do it. Maybe it is crazy, but it as sure as hell, won't be boring. You wouldn't know what to expect, you wouldn't know how to react, that tends to be stressfull.
You're mature? Then the first thing you know is that everything, is always, changing. You can sit out on it, or you can act, and forget about how you feel and just feel.
My advice at least

Do you have a job? Or if you really want to help you could do volunteer service or work at your local public library...

You know what? Check out your local church...Ex/ Church in Irvine, Church in Chicago...I'm sure there's one look online too. I know you may not be interested into religion and stuff like that, but I don't have a religion. It's not a practice or ritual. Accept God's life and it is so enjoyable!

I mean, what harm can it do? You aren't exactly going to die if you go, you know. Just give it a shot.

Hope that helps! May the love of Christ be with you and your family.

In Christ, Melodie

I think you already answered your question. Take advantage of your unique position and monetary stability to improve the lives of those around you. Donate to a charity and volunteer at a soup kitchen. Lobby for a worthy political agenda and write your senators. Increase awareness of global warming and viruses such as HIV/AIDS. Help build homes for Habitat for Humanity or join the Peace Corps. There is so much good that can be done with free time and monetary support.

Find an elementary school teacher, one who has really made a difference in inspiring students, and give that teacher a substantial monetary award.

Good teachers are often overlooked, and they are rarely paid enough!

Help in soup kitchens-build schools where they are needed-mentor a child-tutor a child-work with Habitat for Humanity-answer phones for helping those calling in to suicide lines, Alzheimer's lines, Cancer lines, etc.,-take meals to shut ins-read to the blind, and on and on and on.

If you really wanted something to do, you would find it.

Hi, what you are missing is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We were created to worship, and everyone worships something. The only thing worthy to worship is God, the creator, His son, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The three in one is the God head and we should live for and worship Him. When you do and turn your life over to the one who created you, He will lead you into the life and destiny He planned for you. It will be anything but boring.
