I was told by Fertility Friend that I ovulated on CD14. Today when i put my temp in it said ovulation had not been detected. Why? It is my first cycle temping so i can't really compare, but i did have slight twitches in my lower abdomen yesterday. Thought maybe i ovulated late. my fiance and i BD yesterday evening.

I would appreciate it if someone with experience in BBT charting would look at my charts and let me know your opinion. thanks

I don't want to get your hopes up, but I think you are. Usually, when you ovulate, your temp goes up. Then, if you don't get pregnant, it goes back down. Your temp didn't go back down, which would suggest pregnancy. Good luck!

I have some experience with BBT, and If you ovulated on day 14, and are only on CD 19, you would not be able to determine if conception has taken place. You need to see high temps for at least 18 days before you could use the BBT method to check for pregnancy. Looking at your chart however, I did not see a great difference in your temps. You would want to see a general section of lower temps followed by a section of higher temps (about .4* higher than the lower ones.) After you see the rise, you would begin to count, and if you see 18 or more higher temps, you may be preggo! I hope that this makes sense. Overall, it is WAY too early to guess. Please e-mail me if you have any questions.

Also, I use THe TCOYF software, and I love it to chart!

Generally, if your temp stays high at least 18 days past ovulation then you are probably pregnant. Your temperature will stay high almost until you start your next period. If it starts to drop then normally you will get your period in the next couple of days. Also, it can depend on how long your cycle is as well.
