I know a few Japanes-Chinese couples that have been married for years and their children seem happy and well adjusted.
There were the initial cultural clashes as would be the case in many inter-ethnic, inter-cultural, and inter-faith relationships. One side wanted the son to marry a "nice Chinese girl," the other side wanted their daughter to marry a "nice Japanese man."
I think the fear of the elders was the carrying on of traditions and lineage. But, as is often the case, the true happiness of their children and the arrival of the first granchild puts alot of the fears, judgements and prejudices to rest, or at least gives them a nap.

I don't think there should be a problem but there may be depending who the family's are and there history.
Don't forgot only 60 years they were still be heading each other, maybe not even as long a long as that.
Speak to an elderly person about it and get there views.
My view is that history doesn't matter it's the future that does and it's time people accepted mixed cultures and stopped all the fighting.
If it's you then good luck!

There isn't any "interracial" problems. Nothing wrong will come out of it. However, if they have any children, it will be awkward to explain to the child what happened during the second Sino-Japanese War (i.e The Nanjing Massacre, Unit 731)

its completely alright!!!
unless the parents have ojections about it i dont really see what can stop you. but i dont think even the parents should stop you from being together.if youre really in love, then your parents will also see that and get over it.
if the culture difference between you two is not a problem, and you think you can work it out long-term then get married.
good luck!!
