First answer is a good start. I have noticed the Sunday ads have fairly good deals. I actually have not used checks in about 3 years. I have my Debit/Credit card from the bank and pay my bills on-line. So, I not have a need to buy checks.

Your bank should offer free checks if not the ads that come out in the Sunday paper are very affordable.
