In the UK it is supposed to be 18 for tattoos and piercings. I say 'supposed to be' because that law is over looked so many times, I had my tattoo when I was 15 and piercings before I was 18. Way before, I think now though (I am 20 now) the laws are more strict because parents complained. LEGALLY IT'S 18 for BODY EARS ARE DIFFERENT 16 WITH A PARENT.

Body piercing
According to the Professional Piercers Association there is no legal age limit for people who want a body piercing. Genital piercing will not be done for people under the age 16 and proof of age will be required. All other piercings including nipples, navels, tongues and eyebrows will be done for people under the age of 16 if accompanied by a guardian aged over 16. However, these are done only at the discretion of the piercers themselves.

Hi, well the legall age i think is 16 for piercing , but if you have your parents consent then 12-13. I know i got mine done when i was 13 and make sure you clean it i cleaned mine and it still went mancky and a lot of other people went mancky and had to be taken out.
Just enquire about it as all places are different. Go through the phone book and ring around.

I think its 18 for a tattoo and 16 for a piercing, can be younger for piercings if there is a person over 18 with you, ie a parent. But some piercers will do anyone at any age unfortunalely.

18 for a tattoo or 16 if accompanied by a parent or guardian, piercings are 16 or 12 if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
