I love sales. I have been in sales for 20 years.there is no other occupation that you can control how much you make. When you work by the hour then you make what ever one else makes but if you sell and you are good at it then you can make more by outworking other people.People will buy from you if they like you,trust you, and they respect you. Always be honest and truthful and you will succeed.

Not sure if you're asking "sales" in the consumer sense.
Or "Sales" as in the occupation.
If consumer, YES! As things get more expensive you have to watch your budget. I'm a coupon clipper, too.
If occupation, NO, NO NO! Did that for 5 years and it wasn't even my job description. Retailing is a b*****.

I worked in telephone sales for exactly 2 hours once...it was the most horrible job I ever had!! I had to read from a script...and I always screwed it up!!!
