connect mp4 to pc, move everything off it to pc, then in 'my computer' right click mp4 logo, select 'format' and choose FAT32. ignore 'Quick format,...format it.. make sure you virus scan everything then replace them on player... it will be fine.... g/luck

I know nothing about a Mac but this is for Windows: If it's D drive or the CD drive then it means that you can't do anything but read the files on that disk; Unwritable. If it's the C hard drive: 1. deleting some useless files (big ones that are about 500mb or more make a noticeable difference.) After deleting, clean up your computer Start Menu --> All Programs --> Accessories --> System Tools --> Disk Defragmentor. 2. Backup the files you want to keep and reformat. Reformatting erases all memory on your computer so it's important to back up everything you want to keep.

its probably the wrong format ,the same happened to me ,i bought a dvd of who wants to be a millionaire,and the mwssage inncorect disk format kept coming up .strage as it seems it works on my sons and daughters but not on mine .
