salt dissolved in water increase the density of water.So, a human corpse put on the dead sea which is the most salted on earth floats without swimming

The salt itself doesn't make things float but the density of the salt added to the water is greater than the things that float.

when you mix salt to water the DENSITY increases and its more apt to float lots of things that could not float in pure water

it makes the water more dense.. or it increases the density of the water
