What are the factors influencing embryonic and foetal growth?

housing
health/diet
physical ability/exercise
physical health/genes
education/understanding what's best for self and child
emotional state/attitude to child
environment/impact on health

On a personal note, I tend to believe that the biggest factors are Nutrition & Hormones.
