I don't think it's the dream that's the problem, but the fact that he's telling you about it. If that were me, I'd keep very quiet.

It could be that your husband doesn't have any romantic feelings for her but it would be hard to believe that he doesn't have any feelings at all. I would say that he is dreaming about her because she still plays an important role in his life - after all she is the mother of his child. He has probably experienced a lot with her and so subconsciously she represents the idea of "the woman" in his life. Don't get me wrong, this isn't to say that you aren't the love of his life. It's just that time and history usually play a stronger role in what you dream that what he is currently experiencing. If you've ever dreamed about being at home and the house is the house where you grew up (not where you live right now) then I would say that's what he's going through.

This happened to me a few weeks ago and it is a very unsettling feeling. My boyfriend woke up crying after having a dream about his ex-wife. In the dream he was saying stuff like, "you know you're the only woman I've ever loved." He claims it's not true, but it didn't make me feel any better.
I decided I had no choice but to let it go and forget it. What else can we do?

I have had dreams like this of my ex and I dont think about him in waking life,so its fair to give him the benefit of the doubt. Also, I used to be real into dream books and the people, monsters, animals in our dreams are us and has nothing to do with the person.

Now to respond to the question. I wouldnt worry about it, merely ignore concerning the needs and luxuriate on your new relationship.

doesn't mean he doesn't love u, sometimes someone shows up in a dream that we haven't thought about in years, and we can't even place where the thing got into our subconscious. most dreams mean nothing at all, don't worry about it unless he starts exhibiting any of the sign es of cheating, don't buy trouble when there isn't any.

he told you and thats great. i dream about my ex sometimes and i hate him with a passion. if you spend a long time with someone it takes a long time to forget them. i wouldnt worry, itll mean nothing and be thankful he's being honest. If he liked her, he would of felt guilty about the dream and hid the fact.

I would be so upset if my husband had been married before and said that to me. I really wouldn't be able to cope. Why is he telling you that? Does he want you to feel insecure?
