my first started teething at about 7 months old, and my youngest started teething when he was about 5 months old. Now my sisters oldest child didn't get any teeth until he was almost a year old. I believe he was about 10 or 11 months. I guess it all depends on the baby. In case you are new to the whole teething thing, you can put a damp wash rag in the freezer and let it freeze, then give it to the baby, it helps, they say alcohol, like whiskey will also help just rub it on the gums and it will numb them. I was never able to bring my self to put alcohol in my childs mouth. Hope this was the answer you were looking for....holly

Mine started teething at 3 months, but didn't get her first teeth until she was 5 months. Now at 8 months she has the bottom 2, but has been cutting 3 on the top for a month now......good luck.

My daughter started teething at around 3 months. On the bottom first. It was a few weeks before the teeth finally poked through. Hope that helped.

well mine started with colic and started teething at 3-4 months and now is a little over a year( on DEC.30) and has 8 teeth and teething again. I will tell you, you need to stock up on Tylenol and Motrin because this will be a hard time for both of you! Expect her to maybe stop sleeping as well and to be fussier. I would get the teething rings and freeze them event get a cold wash rag and give to her to chew on. I used baby oregel and that helped some, along with the pills you get at walmart for teething and they helped some but for some reason my daughter has the opposite effect to meds. so she was wired ...they are supposed to help them sleep!!

Every child is different. As long as the baby has started, don't worry. Good luck
