the curiousity to prove that he is the BEST ?.

i think as a person matures, they come to learn that they do not need to base their sense of accomplishment in relation to what others are/do,,,,, just a need to improve ones self, and thus be better then you were before,,, and some times to be equal to how you were,,, maintain your level of ability

I'm not sure what "best" means. Nor do I understand whit any clarity whatbeing grater than, equal to or less than another means.

What I do understand is that I live in a world inhabited by very man with potentially comparable talents and that to the extent that I focus on "better than" or "less than," I miss the point of discovering meaning for myself. I miss the beauty that surrounds me of sunrises and times when I gain a sense of personal accomplishment ...whether or not my answer is chosen as "the best."

Hence even if many have turned a corner to discover what's on the other side, my curiosity to do the *same* theing leads to excitement and a sense of accomplishment that "no one" could take away from me!
