Today is MY birthday.

Being a member of a very large family, and I being one of the eldest, I had never had a birthday cake in my early years. It never worried me. However, from my work records one of the girls in the office where I worked in Dublin, came into the office where I worked and wished me a very happy twenty-second birthday (this was 1962). I thought nothing further of it until at about three in the afternoon when I heard a drone in the corridor outside my office. The drone became louder until out of curiosity I opened the door to be met by about eight of the girls from the typing pool singing Happy Birthday and carrying, yes you have guessed it, a birthday cake with twenty-two candles on it. I honestly went into deep, deep shock and began to cry. I was inconsolable, so much so that I had to pack up work and go home. It is one of my happiest birthday memories and one that I shall never, ever forget .........................

Many many more! My favorite memories are when I was a child., My dad's birthday was 2 days after mine and we always celebrated together. Fun times.

This passed one, drove to Ft. Lauderdale, from West Coast Fla. Stayed at a really nice Hotel, visited the Museum of Swimming and Diving. Its where the Olympians work out. Has two pools, and a platform diving tank. Open to the Public to use... Great, sits on the Inter coastal, one side, Atlantic Ocean, other!!!! Spent 3 days there, going back this year!

My 13th Birthday was pretty special. 4 of my closest friends threw me a surprise party at my best friend's house. Even though it was small, that's what I liked about it. Very intimate and it was with the people I cared most about. We had makeovers that day and they got me my favourite foods and drinks for snacking! That was about 8 years ago but it was the best birthday ever!

My fav thing was probably my sweet 16, I had a huge pool party and invited everyone that was in band with me and all of my other friends. Half of the people didn't show up but it was still a lot of fun.

Happy Birthday!! My best memory is the cake my Nana made me when I was 6. A gigantic white cake coverd in coconut and gumballs with ballerinas and candles on the top.I dunno why I always remember that!
