First off, I am 37 and this began to happen a about 6 months ago. When my period starts, the first two days are extreme...then it stops for a whole day only to start up again for two to three days very lightly.
Does anyone else experience something like this?

I'm in my 30's also and I was just about to ask this question myself. Yes, it has been happening to me for 4 months now. I have a very heavy flow for 3 days and then the 4th day I completely stop. Then when it starts again it is light but brown and tar like. That lasts for about 3 days also. I pray we are ok. :) Have a wonderful day!

I'm 21 and I do. usually with me my period will start light, then become heavy, then around day 3-4 it stops completely.. only to come back for 1 or 2 days. It's completely normal. Although, with your age, it could be the start of a shift in your cycle readying your body for menopause!

My mom is sorta like that for a bit. Our family doctor said it was because she is getting older.
