Since girls can get their period as early as around age nine then it is possible. I believe that at that young age if a girl was to get pregnant it probably would not be from just going out and having unprotected sex but more likely that the child has been sexually molested or raped. It is sad that there are many perverted men in the world that go around ruining the lives of these young girl. In these cases is where I think it OK to get an abortion. I am not sure where the parents of these girl are and why they would let them get into a situation where they could get pregnant at this young age. I know that if my daughter was pregnant at age 9, I surely would be setting an appointment for an abortion. Then, I would go and hunt down who ever got her pregnant and make sure they endure a slow and painful death.

it has happened if they have been having sex with other people without condoms etc so yes it can happen but sometimes condoms even brake so if someone was to do it at that age it would be a horrible mistake in the future and might even rune the life of the kid because they didn't even live the life of a kid and now they have o raise one +how would they pay for the food and supplies for the baby the parents wouldn't do it because it was there mistake so they have to learn what they have done it also depends on invariants like where they grew up and how they were raised but it mostly happens in Africa.

I am a teacher and I have seen girls 10 and 11 years old become pregnant by some dumb azz 18 or 19 year old who can't get a girlfriend his own age. Even though girls nowadays look much older than they really it's still f'd up! What does Africa have to do with anything? In some cultures a girl becomes a woman once she begins her period but it's not unique to just Africa. Mary wasn't a fun loving 26 yr old when she got married to Joseph. There are 10 yr old girls in Riverdale, Oaklawn, Lake Forest, etc. who get pregnant but have parents who can pay for abortions.

Childbirth does not wait on a certain age. In the not so distant past, the average age of a mother was 14. Babies do not however happen spontaneously. Pregnancy is a caused condition.

it is sad to say yes. At 12 they are still almost a baby themselves, there is no way this is a good thing!! Babies are sweet but they need a mature person, a parent that has had a childhood of their own and is ready to dedicate its life to the child.....at 12 there are so many things yet to conquor...........so sad for that to happen...................

Sadly, it happens. Young kids shouldn't be having sex, but that's life. I have boys. Thank God. And I am going to teach them all about condoms and babies and responsibility.

yes, as long as you ovulate you can get pregnant. This is why mothers need to have the "BIG" talk with their daughters when they begin menstration. I have 3 girls and dread that day but I know it is coming and I will cross that bridge when I get there. My oldest is 8 and we have already instilled in her not to have babies until she graduates from colllege. She seems me raising 4 children and asks "Is it hard?" and I honsetly tell her yes and explain why.
