If it was not for god a snake would have legs?

Well a long time ago snakes did have legs the reason scientist beileve this is that snakes have the same bone structure as lizards but the back leg bones are not connected to the spinal cord. But through evolution they dropped the legs and now they use the muscles to pull theirselves along.
Oh yeah and I dont know why people are so afraid of snakes I have a Ball Python and she is the most docile pet I have. Poisonus snakes. that is probably the best answer i could give you.

Being a snake owner myself, a lot of people are scared for one of three reasons:
1. They're creeped out by the way they move with no legs.
2. They are uneducated, or miseducated about snakes, their behaviors and their general existence.
3. They have a pre-meditated notion that ALL snakes are deadly, which is just not true. Only about 30% of the world's snakes are venemous and deadly.

Because people get dumb & think that just because a few snakes are deadly that all are and since deadly stuff scares the crap outta people most are afraid of snakes!! & I agree with what u said about them having legs...Would that have made them different in our sight if they all had legs??

A number of reasons:
Genetic inheritance- snakes can be deadly. Many animals instinctively shy away from snakes, so the fear is inbred.
Personal knowledge- we are tought that snakes can be dangerous.
Fear of the unknown- we don't have enough knowlege to understand snakes (that is most of us).
Biblical teaching- Snakes represent evil e.g. Garden of Eden.
I'm sure there are other reasons- we think of snakes as being slimy (they are not).
You can think of others!

Since some snakes are posion and most people do not know the difference they tend to fear all snakes. Also I think it goes back to the Bible where God said he put Fear between man and the snake.

Many people as we know are afraid of snakes. You shouldn’t be afraid of snakes unless they are venomous. Some venomous snakes are not as dangerous as others are. But usually people often come in counter with snakes in a region where there aren't venomous snakes. This is why you should always to research about important facts such as venomous. you never know when you can encounter with one. But as a result..no you shouldn't be. Although it is normal to be.

no one really knows why ppl are afraid of snakes ....only just maybes ..
1)it in our genetic code to be afraid of snakes...
2)taught by parents
3) ignorance(not enough education)
4)cant be religion not everyone is religious..so it can't be that....
snakes had legs million of years ago... they evolve they didn't need them.... there is such thing as a legless lizard..

people are afraid of most cold blood animals, it has nothing to do if they have or don't have legs!Think about this if God didn't like us to have snakes He would have eliminate them at that's it! :)

People don't realize which snakes are dangerous and which are harmless. I always try to educate educate educate. Answer questions don't be mean when people ask, for lack of a better word, dumb questions.
