Countryside. With a paddock for the kids' gee-gees and a ten minutes walk to the village pub. And a post office, open all hours..

I would like to live in the countryside but where I am situated is convenient for the city centre, the motorway, shops and a good big park. The advantages of countryside especially near the sea are the clean sea air, the peace and quiet, lovely scenery, perhaps a lower crime rate and idyllic walks. I think it would be a lonely existence and I know someone in Cornwall who has problems with medical help. I can be in the country 40 mins driving where I am now so perhaps I am in the ideal situation?

i live in a small town in hamphire, i wouldnt move because the crime rate here seems pretty good, there are quite a few burglaries, but even these are just minor ones, but serious crime is very very low, and everywhere i go in my town, i feel safe, which has to be the best thing about living here, if i want to venture out then its only about 20 mins away from all the big towns, with lots to do, so there isnt much rush to get anywhere in this town either, everyones pretty calm and laid back!

Why is this classed as a music question?

I think I am very lucky because I live in the country and wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

As I don't drive it would be difficult for me to live anywhere rural. However I would definatly prefer it. I grew up on a farm and still miss it. We live in a semi rural location now, and pass cows on the way to school. I guess I have the best of both.

I live in the country and I love it! All the space and quietness.........instead of having maybe 15 feet between houses and noise, noise, noise, noise, NOISE!!!!!!
And I'll stay where I am.
