My friend was listening to music on radio blog, and played a short extract of a Chopin Nocturne to me. It didn't say what it was called just 'Nocturne Chopin' but the address for what she typed in was:

http://www.radioblogclub.com/search/0/chopin (its about halfway down the list)
or the html to embed in a website is below:

If you can help I'd really appreciate it.

All the nocturnes listed are very well known, and all good crowd pleasers. Nocturnes are very good for beginners for their technical ease, as well as for virtuosos, to showcase musical maturity and interpretive prowess. I suspect that the one you refer to is the c# minor posthumously published one. Adrien Brody "plays" it in the movier "the Pianist." Have fun listening to Chopin!
EDIT: And of course I encourage you to perform his music! Dover editions has a good Mikuli edition of the nocturnes and polonaises.
