Why are they so timid, lazy ?

It's because they are arrogant and pushy and believe that they have all the right answers. They act as if any tactic they use is okay, but let someone disagree or challenge them and the gloves are off.

Its easier to just post a lot of canned slogans like "Bush and his oil buddies", "Bush Created 911" and "Bush was a draft dodger" than actually defending their own poorly thought out positions.
