if someone is banned from driving under Irish law ie the reupblic of ireland is it applicable if someones moves to England?

I think you should be able to get a driving licence in England, You will have to do your test over there as if it was a new licence, The law hasn't come in yet to stop you from driving in the UK.....those other answers are talking through there ***..

there are ways around every system....

the 2 police forces don't work that closely together so chances are you'll get away with it as the UK police have no way of checking your Irish licence on the side of the road...

Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) only has reciprical arrangements with Northern Ireland & The Isle of Man.

So any disqualification imposed in The Republic of Ireland is not enforceable in the United Kingdom - or vica versa.

Yes - at the very least you will require insurance to drive anywhere, and all policies state something like "must hold or have held and not be banned from holding a valid driving licence". Anyone who drives without insurance should be put in the stocks and pelted with bits of people killed by uninsured drivers!

if you have been banned in the south of ireland then it is under a different legal system If in the northern part of ireland i,m afraid its applicable
