I have heard that it is the raw garlic that is the most effective ... do you find that to be true?

Yes, I take it for high blood pressure, and love it. It is also called "natures antibiotic." My bp went up during pregnancy, so I was on bedrest. Four months after pregnancy, it still hadnt went all the way back to its normal reading. I have been taking it for one month and now my BP is NORMAL! YAY! I love the stuff sooo much, that today I went to Super k-mart. I bought fressh garlic there. about two buck for five cloves. I read that it I take the white outside off and plant each inner clove, each one will turn into a new garlic plant. I'm going to grow may own now to save money. I also dont buy the garilc in capsul form, but buy garlic powder at the store and use empty capsules to make my own because it is much cheaper that way.....

Garlic is the most important natural element that can fight against inffections of all kind and drop your cholesterol level because of his bloodvesel cleaning activity. It is a tensions remedy and also it usefull against cold. It is better not to cook it. If you want to eat it raw and also not to smell use some oil when you prepare it. I have taken garlic all my life not necessary as a remedy but as a preventive method. Sometimes when I catch a cold, eating toasted brad with some garlic and oil does miracles. Obviously if you take it when is too late it cannot cure but only prevent another cold.
