Tortoise Age Limit

Age is related to adult size and the habitat.

Most smaller tortoises generally live about 30 years, medium tortoises go about 60, big tortoises can hit 90, and giants can do 120.

There are many examples of tortoises that live much longer than their usual averages, but these are usually well-protected and cared-for pets or semi-pets.

Of course, a lot of pet keepers have troubles keeping them even 5 years!

It depends what kinda tortoise you are talking about. As to my knowledge...some tortoise can live up to 100 years or in some cases..longer that that. I assume that you own one. If that is the case..then you must have a box tortoise. This is a common tortoise for many pet owners. Try googling "box tortoise care sheets"

Depends on the tortoise but Most tortoises will definetly outlive you. They usually live to be around 60-150 depending on the species and if it is given proper care.
