st ans is 5 to the power of 4...rule is
a^m X a^n=(a)^(m+n)

nd ans-the intensity of an earthquake

rd ans is monomial is degree 1...so answer is x+y

th ans is a variable as a variable can be of any degree thereby can alter the degree of the expression

th ans is xy+z---binomial means eqn of degree 2...first is degree 3 second is degree 1.

th ans is 6 just add the powers 4+2=6

th ans is 4...u have to take the highest degree into consideration

th ans is 7 abc...the degree is 1+1+1=3 so its a trinomial
