Does anybody know what these films are?

Question

I am having real dificulty finding these films which i remember watching but cannot remember the title.

The first is a black comedy set in a hotel/theatre in the 'golden era'. I seem to remember a killer is loose in the hotel whilst a show is being produced.

The other is a football related film about a small village team. I remember the end scene, where the young star midfielder is signed up by leeds united, and all the residents of the village watch the match in the pub, where he scores on his debut. This may have gone straight to TV in the UK

I would appreciate if anyone could name any of these films or expand on the plotlines as i have tried google and imdb and am quite stuck.

I dont believe its When saturday comes. The most i can remember is that a village team triuphs over adversity, and that this young black midfielder joins leeds, then in a scene set in the village pub watching a tv, the villagers cheer him on to score a debut goal.

As for the black comedy, im not sure that it is that, as i seem to recall a bellhop character. That film does look interesting though

I believe the first movie youre talking about is "Return to Horror High", a movie which stars both Maureen (Marcia Brady) McCormick and a VERY young George Clooney. A movie is bveing made in a old abandoned High School where a series of grisly murders took place years ago. Opening the school again has also caused the killer to return and kill everyone associated with the movie being made. Clooney is like the first victim and Marcia plays a WEIRD cop weho gets off on being covered in blood. You have to see this movie to believe it.

Im sorry but I have no idea what the second movie is. It sounds a bit like "Rudy", but thats American football, not soccer, so I'm sorry I couldnt help out on the second one.

Football movie could be WHEN SATURDAY COMES with Sean Bean - years since I saw it so not sure! set in Sheffield rather than Leeds, but think the ending was moving to Leeds U.

First film could be Radioland Murders although that's set in a radio studio. Filmfour have shown it recently so may be on again soon. Don't know the other one. sorry.
