We should always be aware that "Man made money & not money made man". Money is requirement or want which has no end .Money can get bed not sleep. Money can get house but not true family happiness, Money can get food but not hunger. Its only a desire which cannot be satisfied. Money creates disrespect, greedy, offence, threat etc among humans which ruins the happiness of togetherness and makes the difference of RICH and POOR. All are liable to lead a happy life but not without the MAN made requirement called MONEY. Yes money is part of life & necessity but cannot be concluded as everything

Happiness and peace of mind are what's important in life. Finding your place in the world is another. Money is the root of all evil. Death has a history with a connection to money. On the other side, children and adults have had their lives restored through needed surgeries, chemo, and constant quests for finding the cures to things uncureable. Some say it takes money to make money. Unfortunetly, we as Americans with our so almighty government, cannot survive without money. Even if you wanted to be like grizzly adams and live off the land, the government would come along and tell you you are on forbidden property. Money is a trap. Plain and simple. Money is not everything in life but ironically, you can't survive without it.

Money isn't everything at all...it is nothing compared to love, friendship and the smallest pleasures. Sure, you need money to put food on the table, for shelter and for clothes, but money can't buy happiness or love, so don't even try. It can only buy material goods. Some of the best things in life are free. :)

No, but then there is no one thing that is "everything" in life. Also, someone said "family" is. That may be true for some people, but unfortunately, some people have total ******* as family members.

Love Jack

PS: If money isn't everything, why does everything cost money?

Money is not everything in life if it cannot buy everything in live. You can rent love but can not buy it. Life should have: Love, Happiness, Friends, and other important values that you can decide for yourself. Money certainly helps and can get you places, which in the end gets you more money. The general public will remember you for your wealth when you die, and your friends will remember you for who you were.

No, money isn't even close to everything in life. I know people who are steadfast in their beliefs, have a loving family, and work hard. They have no money but live happy and love! No money will ever bring that no matter how much you throw around!

Nope. When you don't have any, it seems like it's everything because you need it to get your basic survival gear - shelter, food and clothing. But once you have it, you'll find there's still something really huge missing in your life -- love, relationships, human contact.

The irony is that money isn't the most important thing, but you can't survive without it. Love/family/relationships is the most important thing, but you can survive without it. Go figure...

Nope...but what I find funny is the people who have all the money say, "money isn't everything". Try having NO money and saying the same thing...oh yea and meaning it! I'm poor as hell, but pretty damn happy!!
