Saratoga Springs..condo style which is great for families..they have full kitchens which allows you to not have to eat out every meal, and they have a dining plan which is reasonably priced and they give you plenty of food options. I also love the location, which is a boat ride(drops you off in front of the Rainforest Cafe or House of Blues) or a casual stroll into Downtown Disney. There is also off property restaurants and grocery only a mile or so away frm the resort. The Beach Club Villas are nice to, but if you have young children its sometimes a pain because Epcot sends off fire works at around 9pm every night and that may keep them awake. But you can walk right into Epcot from the resort though, which is a nice feature.

Disney's All Star Resort is known as Disney's Value Resort. Guests can stay at the All Star for as little as $89 a night in the off-peak season.
Moderately-priced Disney resorts start in the 200s a night and the delux resorts are $300 a night and up.

There are several nearby hotels and resorts that are just as nice and even cheaper if you are on a budget. I highly recommend the Best Western Lakeside, located on Hwy 192 in Kissimme near hwy marker 4. In December, my husband and I stayed there for $59 a night. They have very nice rooms, several beautiful pools, a good restaurant, arcade and game room and even a miniature golf course! It is also located 3 minutes from Animal Kingdom and about 7 minutes from the other Disney Parks.

If you have kids, the value resorts are the best deal. That includes the 4 All Star resorts and Pop Century. During regular season they run about $99/night. They don't have a ton of amenities, but there is a food court, a gift shop and multiple pools. Rooms are clean, and you get the same great staff as the mosre expensive hotels. Pop Century is the largest, but I personally prefer All Star Movies... I just like the decor the best.

I'm a big fan of the Port Orleans resort because it's smaller. If you go with Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, or the All-Stars, then you're going to have many more people.

Port Orleans is what the Disney team calls a "moderate" resort, which means it's a little more expensive than the "value" resorts, but not nearly as expensive as the "deluxe" ones.

I would say the moderate resorts like Port Orleans are reasonably priced, depending on when you go. If you go during a popular time to go there, such as spring break, you will pay considerably more, even in the All Stars and Pop Century( the "economy" resorts).

The All Star hotels are the cheapest. They are ok but a little loud. Of course they are the farthest from the parks but it's easy to get on the shuttle bus to get to the parks. If you can afford a little more, I would suggest an upgrade to something closer with a little more luxury. We stayed at the All Star Sports 4 yrs ago. Next time we will upgrade.

If you have kids, go for Pop Century. We just got back. No, it's not a fancy resort that makes you feel loaded, but it's colorful and fun. The rooms are small, but they are clean. If you have kids, you won't be spending much time there anyways. Kids love it.
