Start your day with a glass of room tempreature water. after that have a green/fiber supplement - make sure when taking fiber supplement drink a lot of water during the day, otherwise it won't work. Just go down and stick like a cement. Water is the external force to move it along.
Wait, at least half-an-hour before you have your breakfast.

In mid day - as snack, have pear/apple with skin. These soluble fiber are very helpful.

Prune juice, without added sugar, are beneficial, too.

I like a product called Cleanse More by Renew Life, for occasional problems. Here's a link for the ingredients:

The Indian herbal combo called Triphala is also safe and effective.

Also add to the diet a fiber supplement containing flax seed & guar gum, as well as psyllium. And take an oil - flax oil, borage, evening primrose or fish oil. This will add bulk and a lubricant.

Do NOT just take an herbal laxative, wait until you're feeling constipated and then take it again, however. Use them to develop a twice a day or three times a day rhythm. Then back off taking them and see what your body does. If you are getting enough water & exercise & taking the fiber and oil, you should be back on track.

Senna pods, castor oil, prunes, arrowroot.

I shouldn't take them all at once, or you'll be in deep sh!t.

Cheers.
