PubMed indexes all sorts of medical information, including scientific journals that require a subscription. The articles requiring a subscription are those where you can only see the abstract. The site has search options for many different databases. If you want to search only those articles where the full text is a vailable online, then you need to search within the PMC database (Pub Med Central).

If you want one of the articles that is not free, you can print off the citation and take it to your local library, and they may be able to get it for free. University libraries also have many of the journals. Another trick is to Goggle the names of the authors one at a time - they sometimes have their own web pages where you can download their articles.
