This is a mini project for science we had to do.
Design a plaque or package to be carried on board a deep space probe to give extraterrestrial beings important info anout the Earth and the living things on it.
Any help would do! :)

Check out previous work on Voyager and Pioneer plaques. There is a fair amount of research already on long-lasting materials and symbolism designed to convey basic information to non-human sentients.
One big suggestion is to remember that the only basic commonality in communication will be basic physical constants and, perhaps, astronomical objects that can be detected and distinguished over light-years. The Pioneer plaque used directions to known pulsars along with their periods at the time of launch.

If you look it up I'm sure you could find it. They did put something on Voyager II I believe whatever spacecraft it is that is traveling outside our solar system. NASA put a plaque on it with various pictorials on it so any finder of it could locate us and know a little about us. If you google it I'm sure you would be able to come up with a better description of what was depicted on it and maybe even find a picture of it.
