i dont thinck so becuse he hangs out with girls not boyes and he holds there hands he takes drama witch i love about him and he died his hair he so fine and he is populer i never seen him with any guyes before

If he is "still in the closet" about his sexual preferences, his behavior could be just as you describe. He will not likely admit to you (or anyone else) the facts of the matter.
Since a crush is a feeling that depends on YOU but not on HIM there are only a few options:
1. Restrain your desire and find someone else.
2. Approach him and let him know that you are interested. If he does not receive your advances favorably, you will know enough to move on.
If a number of people whom you trust are telling you this, you must decide what it's worth to risk rejection.

Have u ever asked any of the girls that he hangs around about this? He may only hang around the girls to cheak them out or maybe he is crushing over 1 or some of them. I would not belive wat ur freinds have to say and if he is gay it is not the end of the world there are HEAPS more guys out there. I no that for a fact

You can't tell if someone is gay the way you are describing, if he is and wants to hide it he will. If you are close enough you could just ask. If you aren't that close don't think about his sexuality, too many people make judgments about other people because of appearance, rumors, and lies. Let him know you have a crush if he is interested he will let you know.

If you don't think he is gay, then talk to him and ask him to go with you for some one on one time. It can be to go to a movie you have been wanting to see or a cup of coffee. If he is interested in you then you should start seeing signs of interest, if not then it doesn't matter if he is gay or straight. Just enjoy his company.

According to cliché, he's gay. There's only one way to find out really - you should ask him. Not straight away though; you need to talk to, get to know him and then eventually work up to the question. Heck you might not even have to ask! If you explain that you fancy him he might accept, or if he turns you down he could offer an explanation.

Talk to him and get to know him. Some guys that are gay do prefer to hang out with girls cause they identify better with them, and feel more secure around them. If he becomes a best friend he may divulge his sexual orientation to you

How would they know?? Some of the "straightest" guys that I went to school with turned out to be gay, and the "gayest" were not.
Straight guys can be non-jocks, and be into more artistic endeavours, and gay guys can be quarterbacks. Don't let people tell you their "assumptions"....only believe it if he tells you.
