Well....the first thing I would ask yourself is are you really dating a guy or a girl.....once you get past that part I would move onto your issue
P.S. most guys will always have a place for thier first loves.....

Comparing your relationship with a past or other relationship is the worse thing you can do. You will be uneasy at all times and won't ever feel that you can match up and even be happy. Obviously this other person is an ex for a reason, so you are the girlfriend now. Enjoy your relationship and be yourself. If he is worth it he will love you for who you are.

Maybe first have a heart-to-heart talk with your boyfriend.Try to find out 1)does he still have feeling for the other girl=and try to be understanding, and just listen.2)could it be too soon since the ending of the 4 year relationship, and he is confused?Good Luck!Even if you find out he still loves her-you need to really know where you stand in his life.

You cant "make" someone love you.
If your current bf still has feelings for his ex-, then that is a problem he needs to deal with, not you.
Ask him if he does. You have the right to know because there is no way to have a healthy relationship with him if he has feelings for someone else. You deserve better.
If he says that he does, then you have to walk away.

you cant make him do or get over anything. just be yourself. if love is meant to be with you, then YOU will be the apple of his eye and no one else. believe me, i have been in this situation and stressed myself out for years until I learned to let that insecurity go. you cant control whats in his mind and heart. but you can control how you are. keep being you and i'm sure he'll realize that no other exes matter.

Be yourself and dont worry about what type feelings he had for someone else. Oviously that persons relationship didn't work out and needing something different. Being yourself is the best thing you got going. Dont be phoney trying to be something that your not...

You cannot "make" someone love you. It should be enough that he is with you, not her. If he had feelings for the past girlfriend, he'd be there.

if you have to make someone love you its not real you have to face the fact he may never love you more than he did her.
