Nice to see the conservatives study history....

"Naturally the common people don't want war. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."

Herman Goering

Or, more simply put: People follow LEADERS at any time under any situation. The leaders may be strong leaders (Reagan) or weak leaders (Carter), but they still follow, because the vast majority of common people are FOLLOWERS.

history is a wonderful thing. It allows us to construct future objectives by detemining the present beyond a soley here and now identity or natural animalistic primal reality.

So for anyone it is a mixed blessing one, allowing us to be human, confused and indocrinated, on the other end of course is the loss of being whole and untainted.

We can only assume that to be human is to be flawed, but the beast in all of us tells us the truth of the world around us. It is just that history and psychology beyond the here and now creates ambition, endevour and issues of control beyond ourselves in the world. It allows strategy and grand action.

Of course knowing what conservative values and whether it is your packmate or enemy is another matter. I see nothing inherently wrong with an individual having conservative values, perhaps my own beliefs are dove oreinted rather than hawk oriented, although I myself a fiscal conservative with strong support for educational and cultural arts spending as well as social welfare, and core social programs. Although not much for special interests handled in their own scope. Although I'm very leftist when it comes to personal and civil rights, libertarian so. So obviously my answer is based on my own beleifs, and the study of history for anyone is nice to see, if we all just can't be animals ---. Natural and pure to the world around us, to some extent, not to say all animals are braindead, it is just we seem to have a more developed and selfish frontal/temporal lobe, thus having a greater capacity for twistiing and confusing our own memories.

I tend to disagree with goering though, it is not the leaders that determine policy -- it is the police (people enacting the enforcement of policy) that determine which policies are put into effect. Everyone is a leader with their own beleifs, they just may not be aware of it. Peacemakers are also a tool or removing an attack . Spoken rhetorical leaders are little more than sociopaths.and any knowing population cannot fall victim to puppeteering, if everyone is a leader of themselves then we are free to determine what we feel is right, without scapegoating the leader for false direction.

I tend to think that sameness of a country is not identical, but sameness of government is another matter completely, but perhaps that is a ambigious synonym that all countries have governments, rather than a country being a place/land/realm, a nation being a people, a state being a statement of absolute order within history, and a government being a body in support of enforcing their beleifs on others. Ultimately the land is not all the same, that is what is different. A country is bounded, physically a state unbounded physically. A nation is self composed and a government by internal peace and common purpose, agreement to policy.

Nice in fact Mien Kompf had some great thought as well they were mad men not retarded. Conservatives have made History my friend. Libs did too infact Marx and Lennin spring to mind.
I think perhaps it would be Nice to see the Libs living it. School is supposed to be a way to life, not a way of life.

It's a tried and tested technique that still works. There are way too many sheep in the USA. He did ask a question in his additional details.

911 was real, the whole country witnessed it. the widows, widowers and parentless children feel the pain of loss and you insult them.

The Muslims declared Holy war on us and have done so publicaly, it is not a made up event.

It's sad that so many people have completely missed the point I think you were trying to make. Or they chose not to see it.
