I'm a realtor, looking for the most cost effective way to market for qualified BUYERS looking to purchase a home within a certain area(ie: Atlanta and metro areas). Anything besides cold calling or door knocking. Basically I want to sit back and answer the phone or reply to emails. Any suggestions???

There are a few ways to advertise online that cost you such as PPC and banner ads.

This is such a general question that it is difficult to determine what the real question is.

Assuming you are looking for BUYERS, the answer is ADVERTISING. (If you are asking WHAT TYPE OF ADVERTISING, that is a another question.)

However, if your question really is how to find QUALIFIED buyers, you can ask for a mortgage company or bank Letter of Approval from the prospective buyer, although that will certainly reduce the number of prospects since the majority of buyers do not go through this process in advance of buying a home.

If you are asking how you can SIT ON YOUR DUFF and be successful, that is hardly likely.

If you have a website the best thing you can do is promote it to the right people.

Here are my three top ways to promote a website to
the search engines:

1. Optimize your site. This includes meta tags, keywords and header tags. For more info - http://www.richkahmer.com/meta-tags.html

2. Add new content to your site atleast weekly. Visitors and the search engines like to see that your site is regularly updated.

3. Gather inbound links. There are many ways to do this.

you should always have a website, it works for you 24/7
pgwebdesigns.net.

after that you need to get some printed material done, i've used vistaprint.com and then you can either mail out the material or put the info under neath people's windshield, ask a mortgage company if you can advertise your services with them by leaving material in the wating area. post info. on bill boards that allow you to. ride around with a sign in your car window advertising your services.

A great website is quantummail.com to sent out flyers and postcards, they offer range of different topics so you can specialize it to you. But you still have to do work, they aren't just going to come to you until you build your business. I don't know what firm you are with, but some are better than others about teaching how to build that business.
