That's a very good question. See me at the break, and I'll avoid answering it then, too.

Simple:

You need to analise the maximum electrical current which can flow in this particular electrical system under short circuit conditions. It is determined by the voltage and impedance of the supply system by considering the calculation of the active power P and the effective value of an electric current. As I am sure you know, it is of the order of a few thousand amperes for a standard domestic mains electrical installation, but may be as low as a few milliamperes in a SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage or, occasionally, Separated Extra Low Voltage) system

In principle, the kinetic energy could be quartered if the total moving mass was not increased. However, as the total moving mass is increased, the practical reduction in kinetic energy is closer to 60%. The total tripping energy also includes the compression energy, which is almost the same for both techniques. Thus, the reduction of the total tripping energy is lower, about 30%, although the exact value depends on the application and the operating mechanism. Depending on the specific case, either the double motion or the single motion technique can be more effective.

Other considerations, such as rationalization of the ON/OFF switch, can also influence the functionality of the device's output mode.

First, put the remote control up your butt

Now, with all your sphincter muscles, wiggle the control back and forth until the power cuts on. Make sure your butt is aiming towards the television.

If that doesn't work, get up off your butt and push the power button that is on the tv. Make sure you keep that control in your butt, though.
