Some do and some don't. I screamed with number three, it was the hardest one. The first two, no screaming!

If yo have an epidural or some kind of pain relief where you don't feel the baby coming out than no you do not scream. If you have a natural child birth, with no drugs, than i'm sure there is a huge possibility that you could cream because of the stretching when the baby begins to come out, it's a burning sensation.

Yeah I'd have to agree some will and some wont.
My wife did not, she wanted the baby out and let me tell ya the birth didn't last long at all. My wife was very strong with giving birth, and the day after we both walked around the hospital.Everyone was amazed by her physical recovery. Although it took a good 14 hours before she could walk far.

I didn't scream with my first I held my breath when I pushed. With my second I was so drugged up I didn't even know if I was pushing hard or not. Now I am waiting till May to give birth to my 3rd child, I guess I will have to wait and see what happens.

Some moms do, but it's best if you don't. When people scream, they are usually tensing up and making high pitched sounds. Making noise is great. Most of us made a little noise when these babies were conceived too. :-) It's better to moan loudly and make lower pitched noises in labor though. It's easier to relax your body that way.

I haven't seen that show you are talking about, but I grunted, groaned and moaned. I went with no drugs. I didn't really scream, but I'm sure some people do.

Screaming to me seems unproductive - it seems like something you do out of fear. I tried to remember that I was pushing a kid out and used the sounds that would help me push out my daughter.

I didn't scream when I was in labor or delivering my son. Some women make tons of noise and some don't make any. It depends on the person.

I didnt scream but I did make a lot of noises. Mostly heavy breathing and lots of moaning with a few "owwwww's"

No i didn't but my language was not pretty when the pain hit it at it's worst, i dont think my partner had any fingers left, and his hands are massive compared to mine lol.... the doctor was actually urging me not to hold back, it was the most painful, but best experience ever, especially when i saw my gorgeous son.

I talk through my labors. I make jokes in between contractions. I have a big sense of humor and a high tolerance for pain. My mom commends me for being very mature and strong during labor.
