There is another actress, named Doris Day: born in 1910, who mostly did minor roles. The not so famous Doris Day passed away in 1998.
However, the one actress who starred in "With Six You Get Eggroll" : "Please Don't Eat The Daisies" : " Pillow Talk" and "Pajama Game" , who I think you are referring to is thankfully still with us.
She has recently been lending her beautiful voice to several movies.
