I wish we could control climate and sunrise. Like, did you ever get up early, and you just wanted to "turn on the lights" (sun) and heat to be able to start your day?

Or what about when you get up too early, and you are ready to start the day, but it is dark outside and nothing is open. Then you pass out when the sun does come up.

First, wrong section for the question. But, I am doing nothing about it. You see, I know that God created this planet as well as us. Now, he knew just how we are and what we will do. So, he made the planet where it can handle us and what we will do, for as long as he planned upon us being here. We are not to be here forever nor is the earth.

Look, have you ever bothered to view the work of many of the scientists who say that global warming is complete nonsense? Do you really think that we have the power to actually do half the stuff that global warming nuts claim we do? Come on kid, wake up. Follow the money. In almost all of these things such as global warming, you will find that there is a lot of money and power at the heart driving these claims and so forth. Dont want to beleive that? Go look at what the discussions look like or hinge on, at the U.N., each time they have talks on subjects like this. They always amount to nothing more then making America pay and give up money, security and power to piss ant countries.

Now, if you are so worried about it, stop asking us what we are doing. You do and then lead by example. Turn off your computer, then turn off your power. Ride a bicycle and give up your car. Then look around your house and see what you have or use in your life, that can be changed. It is always easy to ask what others are doing. Instead, show your concerns, passion, compassion by what you do or dont do and leave the rest of us to do the same.

1. Making everyone I know watch "Inconvenient Truth" with Al Gore

2. Looking into green energy and solar panels for my roof

3. Going to by a Hydrogen powered car in 2008 (Honda or BMW)

Sadly, I think we can prevent it but will not because there are many greedy people getting richer while the planet and the people on it suffer dramatic climate change and wars to defend fossil fuels.

We can, but I don't think we will until it's a very big problem. I personally use solar power for my house, ride a bike, and take public transportation. I buy food that is grown locally, so transport is not excessive.
I heard a new ideas the other day that I am going to adopt, buy used things when possible, so many items are being manufactured and thrown away in the US that are perfectly good. This will reduce energy used in manufacturing, and in transportation, and support local businesses.
Lots of people have wonderful ideas, to bad it's such a small minority that will listen.

Driving bigger SUV's, cooking more on my gas grill, buying up old used gas lawn mowers to cut the yard with and burning petroleum oil soaked styrofoam for heat!

Come on! Global warming is the second biggest joke next to Al Gore. I know a lot of you Gore loving tree huggers are too young to remember but, thirty years ago science was trying to send everyone into a panic about global cooling.

The planet moves through cycles. We are not on a steady constant thermostat with the universe. We move, things change.

We have not been on the earth long enough to know what the climate might do.... some say there once was an Ice Age.... good luck.

No this is just the way things are. If you read up on it one volcano eruption puts more ozone eating gases in the air than mankind ever has. Global warming is the natural change of the earth for our time.

Thanks

we do not know the cycle of the world, just think if just one active volcano blows again, it doesnt matter how many cars are on the road, those things will screw up the enviroment, there is one on Hawaii, one in Washington, Yellowstone national park is a volcano and if that one blows it will be the end of the world,,

what? dear ,these are natural phenomena.what's happening right now are effects of global warming due to heavy pollution and lack of man's respect to nature.

You can help though by segregating your garbage properly, walking instead of driving(if possible), planting more trees and recycle waste materials.
