Ofcourse its true and its been known. Basketball players not only get paid more in salary but also compare how many basketball players are seen more then football players on commercial. So basketball players make alot more in advertisement as well. Lebron James came out of highschool and did not step a foot on the basketball court before making a 90 Million Dollar Contract with nike!! Nba has alot more exposure and a richer sport as well since they are world wide and play in the olympics. Dont get me wrong because ofcourse nfl players get paid but like i said Lebrons 90 million for a shoe contract alone is probably more then any football players contract now or ever. So if your question is who gets paid more?! Then Basketball players is the correct answer because they make money everywhere and for almost everything and lebron, magic, jordan and others proved that because those players mentioned probably made more then foot ball players on shoe contracts and commercials alone.

LMAOOO... how old are you 12???? You will bet your money on Spain because the OCTOPUS said so????? HAHHHAHHHAHAHHHHHHAHAHAHAAAAHAHAHHAHA People are betting their money on Spain because Spain is the better team, simple as that. Before the WC people were betting on England, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Italy etc etc but now there are only TWO teams left, so you chose Spain or Netherlands, there is no 3rd option. Why would anyone think that Kaka and Rooney would score??? they had below average seasons so by what kind of logic should they perform great at the WC....... because the newspaper said so??? LOL Only surprise in my opinion was Ribery, I expected much more from him. Sneijder and Robben were both in the CL final and were both among the main reasons for their team's success while on the other hand Spain has 7 Barca players playing, they have 7 player from a team that has won EVERYTHING in the last two years and are totally domintaing European football. Netherlands and Spain being in the final is no surprise for people that know something about football and now they have equal chances to win the world cup, Spain is a better team and should win but in football better teams don't always win so anything can happen tomorrow.

The NFL has a hard cap (meaning they cannot exceed that dollar amount for any reason) of approx. 109 million to be divided up among 55 players. In the NBA they have a soft cap (meaning there are exceptions and luxury taxes applied once the cap is exceeded) and they distribute approx. 53 million to a roster of 12 players (they can have 15 players under contract). So simple math indicates that the typical basketball player makes more money...the stars of both leagues (i.e. Top 10 paid players in each league) make very close to the same dollars per year.
