The way you make him happy, is by first making yourself happy. You are the most important. Yes; you are more important than your boss (and anyone else for that matter). Don't over do it. Approach him and tell him if he's piling on too fast. If a project takes priority, then set aside what you are currently working on and do it. In this fast pace corporate world with E-mail and Sametime~ It's imperative that we set a pace. Your boss should appreciate your straight forward approach. Good luck

Quit-he will never be happy and you will end up being as miserable as him-because misery loves company.
Wait to quit untill you have a new job and be polite when you do.
Your revenge will be happiness which will ultimatley lead to a longer life for you. Happy people live longer!
