If Scotland attain the Home rule status, whereby they are free of Enlands Goverment, will that mean that the Scotish Mafia that are running the Enlsih cabinet at the moment, voting for all sorts of unwanted acts for the English , which they vote against passing for their Scotish friends, will they no longer have this status, if so then it explains why they are against it,

I believe if Scotland did get Home Rule then Scottish MPs would not be able to sit in Westminster, they would presumably sit in their own Scottish assembly. English governments have never been keen on Scottish Home Rule, regardless of their nationality so I'm not sure if this current lot are against it because certain high profile Scots (Brown, Reid etc) would be kicked out of Westminster. I think historically governments have always dragged their heels about giving countries their independence as they would prefer to run 'big' countries not small ones (look at all the strife in the former Soviet Union). Incidentally, I'm not sure if the majority of people living in Scotland want independence do they, if they did they could vote overwhelmingly for the SNP.

You are correct. If Scotland attained home rule, then Labour would be finished in England.

the 'Scottish mafia' Blair, Brown, Reid et al would also be deported North of the border.

John R and Bert: You are obviously a couple of retarded Sassenachs and typically clueless. Blair is ENGLISH, not Scottish (two 'Ts' in Scottish), so don't blame the Scots for him being such a despot. Granted he was educated at Fettes College in Edinburgh, but I doubt that had much to do with anything, seeing as most of us are conditioned into a particular mindset from a very young age. In your cases, around the age of four I should think!
As for Bert alone: Bleeding you dry??!! You steal the oil from Aberdeen; are proposing to pipe down our water, because of all the droughts you have and finally any new hair brained laws are nine times out of ten given a test run on the Scots first! Screw you - England is bleeding US dry!

I cant wait for an Independant Scotland.

The Tories polled more votes in England than the Labour party, if we had proportional representation, wed have a (possibly) better Govt by now.

Scotland will vote for their own prime minister and cabinet.

As I recall in the last General Election in England postmen were offered £250.00 for a sack of postal votes by labour supporters, a lock up unit was raided and sacks full of blank postal votes were found along with 3 labour members.

England has always treated the Scots as second class citizens.

Keep your own rubbish in England including Blair and Brown.

i have said it before and i ' 'll say it again, there will be no home rule for scotland, they will be the state of scotland under the rule of the united states of europe stop kiddin yourselves, they are trying to wind up scotland and england for the purpose of taking away englands name and identity , so she is swallowed up by europe. all scotland and wales is going to get is your name, scotland and a pretend parliament. this will fool you into thinking you got away from england at last making you feel victorious, but its design is to split britain by any means and betray all of us, including the the crown. the scots can only win if they leave europe as well.
