"requires" should be "require" - otherwise the sentence is grammatically correct.

It sounds ok, but perhaps this would be better... "If the joint inspection of the contract requires modifications, doing so should be specificed in the contract addendum."

You were so close, just removed the plural in "requires" and changed "should" to "shall".
