. Bars are probably the worst places to look for a relationship- unless you want a one night stand. And there are lots of women out there who aren't narcissistic. But they're not usually "model perfect" either. Often men and women desire a beautiful partner, but then are turned off by how these folks love to be admired; and they're even more disappointed at how little these people give back in a relationship. Both women and men suffer these disappointments. I was single for many years and was often dismayed at how guys thought if they were good looking or had a well paying job that they were somehow "God's gift" to women. I don't really think you're gay- I just think that you may feel resentful that the kind of girl you secretly want isn't returning your affections. I got dumped a few times but turning gay? Yuck! When I got disgusted, I just took a break from dating and relationships for a while. Eventually I found the right man and got married. And by the way- I wasn't thrilled by his looks- he won me over by being the wonderful, kind person he is.

I think that often some boys become Gay or Bi on account of the fact that it has been their first sexual experience.

If they'd done it first with a girl they might have been straight.

You may have heard of those Fetishests who could only enjoy sex if their partner was wearing a gas mask as they saw people doing it that way in the London Underground (subway) during air raids in 2nd world war.

I'm cool with Gays though. They're some of the nicest people.

Being gay is not a life style, it is the way you are. Just like being heterosexual isnt a lifestyle. Why is it so hard to understand for some people? Like I - straight - cant turn gay a gay person cannot turn straight. People who claim they did this, werent straight or gay to begin with.

Actually, I do. I know two. One of them I went to school with, did it because he was feeling down and a girl felt sorry for him. The other I met at a church men's meeting, did it because he became so disgusted at the behavior of gays he was acquainted with. I know you folks won't like that answer, but you asked.

a gay man cant go strait but you do hear quite a lot of gay men married when young as they were scared to come out with it. You can a get a bi-sexual man- not a gay going strait.

These stupid ex-gay ministries have been proven over and over to be scams, pure and simple.

I was "healed" of my homosexuality as a teenager....it lead to drug abuse and suicide attempts, as it does with a lot of people abused in this way.

I thank God every day that more than 20 years ago I was able to find Christians who were not blinded by their political agenda and welcomed me lovingly into a community of faith as a happy well adjusted GAY man.

i know a woman who did that.(not so much of a choice thing as it was her dad beating her into it..) and she went on to have the perfect life, 2.4 children and a big house in the country. that is, of course, until 26 years later when she could take no more, overdosed on painkillers, survived but had to leave her husband. she met a woman and then her kids decided they hated her because it was all a lie, she'd hurt their dad. so she moved to australia and only sees them maybe once ayear, on graduation days, weddings etc.
so it can be done for at least a wee while >:)

I don't know any and don't want to know any. If you cant even be true to yourself how can you be true to anyone else. I am straight and will remain that way even if the whole world turns gay. Be true to who you are and to hell with the rest of those who cant understand you.
