I will just analyse in a different perespective. Lets take an example of our acedamic examination. We all know if we give exam and pass in it we will be going to higher grade, in a higher level we will get good job Please note only few are selected to get good jobs. and the person who were selected whould have dedicated their life ti the caouse of there studies.
In a similar way we as a human are being under a test by GOD/ destiny for some higher things.( The test norms are specified in all regilious text and are mostly same in all religion). If we live our lifes as per the norms specified we will be qualified for the higher thing.
If there is no life after death, we will not preparing in the earth for the test and so there will be no moral values, no law and order and ultimately the extinsion of the human race will be a question(think little bit deep).
Hence there is a life after death, but no one know how it would be.

Anyone who suggests that there is no life after death, has no reason to live:
1) If there is no life after death, once you die, your soul is removed permanently from the world. What good is living if you just simply vanish?
2) If there is no life after death, what good is living just to benefit others? Eventually, they too shall vanish.
Religions promise life after death, would it not be better to live with the chance that they may be right than to live with the thought that you shall disappear? Assuming that the latter is true, would not living your life in hope that you shall be rewarded for your deeds be more pleasant than facing an inevitability (which you cannot prove for certain) that there is nothing after life?
There may be a dark cave in front of you, through which people have gone but not come back from. Would you assume that the cave is empty? Or would you suggest that there is something within? You cannot prove whether or not life exists after death (you would be dead and unable to tell anyone in both cases). This fact shall reveal itself to you in time.
Even if religion is just an illusion (I am NOT saying that religion is false, it is an IF for those who don't believe in the Existence of God and a life after death), would it not be better to live your life helping others trying to earn a place in Heaven than living your life in complete misery?

There is no sure way to know as no one has come back to tell us. Houdini wanted to and apparently failed. Thus all we can do ...at our best, is to imagine.
If I believe in an ultimate meaning, then it seems that life would be about learning and growth in our humanity and love for others. That notion could accommodate the notion of mulitple lives and a soul that transcends death.
In a parallel conception, physicists conjure that there are up to 15 dimensions, many intangible to our own life experience. I prefer to imagine that there is meaning to life that none of us can fully fathom, that through our scientific investigations we see a glimmer of that meaning, and through our human interactions we embody the potential and an essence of the the Creation we can barely comprehend.

Yes, i believe in life after death. You hear so many stories about people who die for a few minutes and then come back and they speak of this calm place that they never wanted to leave. Thats proof enough for me and when someone close to you dies, you feel their presence and know that their soul is always there with you. That's why i believe. :)

I know there is life after death. Have had several experiences, and find it quite comforting. Not exactly sure of the process of what happens after one's death but do know that the soul, or energy ( I prefer soul) is eternal.

Of course there is life after death. What a silly question. Energy is eternal: more importantly, God promises eternal life with Him or eternal separation from Him. You just have to choose if you want to have faith in His being or not. What do you choose?

If you really think about it you can only come to the conclusion that it's all religious propaganda . I believe it was first brought up to give hope to those who's life was of such misery that the promise of a second chance { if they behaved and earned it } would come . So many people spent their lives unwillingly in servitude to a master that the hope of a better afterlife is all that kept them going . But for my money , when you die you die
