Under dressed. It happened to me once and I felt like a slob. Very embarrassing.

Depends on what type of social event and how over or under dressed you are... if you wear a tuxedo to an office party, that would be quite embarassing. If it is something like a wedding or wedding reception I would far prefer to be overdressed to being under-dressed.

I really do not believe one can ever be overdressed for any event as long as they look good. It may be just that persons style to go with looking his/her best. So, I would say under-dressed would be the worse thing for any such person.

Overdressed is definitely worse for a woman. There is nothing worse than arriving at an event in a cocktail dress only to see that every other woman is in a business suit.

i think underdressed....
ppl like 2b trendy & 2 stand out..
if someone's overdressed, it wudnt embarrass that person while on d contrary, if someone goes 2 a party lookin like he's lost, that's definitely more embarrassing
