Sure - more the the mind blows up after a pathetic attempt from England, the team deserved to be whitewashed. I'm all for Warne.

He wouldn't take over the team; he would be used as a coach not THE coach. Shane Warne could help out with advice to bowlers and would probably do a good job.
Why not have the best available (he will be in this country) people to help coach?

Two words: Troy Cooley. An Australian with a very modest first-class record, Cooley is credited with turning England's four-man pace attack into an Ashes-winning machine in 2005. Then he went to coach for Australia and we all know what happened :(
Aussies now coach over half the Test teams - Buchanan (Aus), Chappell (Ind), Moody (SL), Whatmore (Ban) and King (WI). Their system seems to work, why not steal from it?

Yes, err Ian Salisbury? Dont be daft, if we can get the best spinner in the world to teach our young spin bowlers then to refuse would be churlish. Though i suspect Warne could only teach them drinking and speed texting, some things you just cant teach.
