First, I have to ask, is this score on the old SAT or the new one?? If its the new one...with a rank of 117...I'd say your chances would be slimmer. However, If its the old one, I think you probably have a decent chance.

Your chances should be great, considering the fact that I got into UT Austin with an ACT score of 21 and a scholarship. My score on the SAT was very low and I only took it once. However, I had a 3.5 GPA, and I was involved in every club and organization my high school had, so they considered me a well-rounded candidate and I was accepted to UT in 2001, alumni Class of 2005.
