That depends on a lot of other factors...but I'd be very, very careful about doing any such thing. Take a look at the reasons they got a divorce, what age the woman was at when her parents divorced, and how she identified with each parent both before and after the divorce, for starters. A choice to marry a woman who's parents never divorced avoids many, many potential issues.
Best bet is to marry a woman who doesn't believe in divorce. If both man and woman don't believe in it, then they will do what it takes to make a marriage work instead of doing what it takes to make sure they have an escape-hatch. If one thinks there is a need for an escape-hatch, they should never get married...they don't trust the opposite sex enough to have a successful marriage. (Note that a successful marriage means much more than just staying married for a certain period of time.)

I would not let the fact that a girls parents divorced influence my feelings or desire to marry. If she's the one for you, don't even consider such a thing. If you were madly in love with a girl, you would not be held back a moment by this. You cannot judge her based on whatever reasons prevented her parents from staying married...Reasons for divorce are many, and does not necessarily pre-dispose someone from divorcing later in their own life.

That is just absurd. The girls parents have nothing to do with the marriage or the relationship of you have with the girl.
Thank God my husband didn't see it that way. We've been married 17 years, my parents divorced long before that, my parents divorce didn't put him through anything.

It isn't always the case, that a person who comes from a divorced family will absolutely divorce. Sure, it's harder to cope, and the person has a flawed idea of commitment, but if the 2 people involved agree to never use the "D" word while arguing then things would turn out. This applies to both women and to men who come from broken families.

Weather or not her parents are divorced should not be an issue. If her parents are already divorced, then why would one have to go through anything.

Girls with divorced parents can be depressed, and will not have an example of a woman at home, who carries on with her husband inspite of differences,,
BUT also a girl of such parents will be extra careful and would want, her life and her children's life, to be safe in one man's strong arms, who is their own! Not repeat what has happened before in the family.
So the nature of the girl is important not her mother's!

it's not like it's the girl's fault she has divorced parents so marrying a girl with divorced parents should be no different than marrying any other girl. sure, she may have some emotional problems/hangups ... but who doesn't?

First, now you're realising what a huge mistake you have performed through marrying that guy. 2nd, in case you get divorced and switched over to Muslim, will the mum and dad or the kin of this 2nd guy settle for you? If no longer, will you be waiting to stay in peace back? i think of you should take a criminal action on your husband for harassing and torturing you, just to instruct him a lesson.
