No way! we have struggles trying to power our houses (think new york rolling blackouts) and cars with (yech) fossil fuels.
To make a car levitate much energy is needed, to make the energy required you add more weight for power generators, then you need more energy to lift the added weight of the generators.
and so on... and so on...
Don't expect to see it without fusion power.

There is a guy in Germany selling gyroscope motorcycle things.
It flys like a small helicopter. Once you land you fold up the main props and drive it like an oversized motorcycle.
Then there are also hovercraft.
So my answer would be yes and in the very near future.

No they will use matter transporters. It is a proven technology IBM is doing research on them.
Of course they could build them using anti gravity technology which is not that far off.
