Go to your district criminal court and tell them you would like to do your own divorce, as you can't afford a lawyer.
There is one charge for the papers and there will be small fees to get documents if you don't' have them. Also , when things are ready to proceed there will probably be some court fees for the divorce sitting in front of the judge.
Ask them what your total cost would be. I am sure it will be minimal compared to trying to hire a lawyer. Call and inquire, people just like you do it all the time,

If you and your husband are in agreement about the particulars of the divorce, go to a divorce mediator. There is still a cost involved, but much less than a divorce attorney.

unfortunately there is no such thing as a no-cost divorce. there are children involved so you NEED an attorney to make sure your children are provided for in the divorce decree.

You can do it yourself - the State of Connecticut tells you how to find and file all the forms, as well as covering some other services that are available to you. It's all here:

I was gonna be smart, but, been there, done that scene. Call the Conn. board of lawyers or something they should be able to help. Try your localchild support office, welfare offices should be able to point you in the right directions too !! GOOD-LUCK !!

Call your local courthouse up and go in and talk to them, they may work something out with you.
