Is it safe to use rubbing alcohol/peroxide with a q-tip to clean clarinet keys.?

I wouldn't recommend it, because the liquid can ruin the pads. You can usually get rid of fingerprints with a dry polishing cloth or if worse comes to worse, get the instrument professionally cleaned.
